An Update on the Collection Room

Well, some progress made since the last time I posted a pic of my collection room. In the mirror you can see my other Showcases - Oh how I love those, so addictive.

That's the Adam Strange figure I have! :D I love how Darth Vader is hanging out in the background. And the X-Wing lunch box!! Is that an original?

The only downfall to that Adam Strange figure is that he towers over my DC Direct J'onn J'onzz figure and it looks really weird. :/

The picture of Christopher Reeve just reminds me that Superman II was just on BBC America last night. Oh, how I adore that movie.

Yes, you were the one to tell me his blaster comes out of the holster, though I've avoided temptation because of too many memories of losing weapons from Star Wars figures. :)

And yes, it is an original Star Wars lunchbox, though I bought it after the fact in the nineties from a guy at a con - I paid $14 and he said his mother would never believe he sold it for that much, but I felt like I got a bargain! T

Oh, yes, now I remember. Aww, don't worry about losing it...just make sure to put it back when you're done playing with it. It's way too much fun to play with. The gun fits in his hand so nicely and then you can make "pew pew!" sound effects and pretend he's shooting at some Tigrabars.

Fourteen bucks for an original Star Wars lunchbox is a steal, I think! I wish I had the original Storm Trooper figure my brother had when we were kids, but it got lost somewhere along the way. I know there's probably tons Storm Trooper figures I could buy now, but it's not the same.

This is a great blog! And a collection is never a collection without Dr Doom! Glad to see he gets top-shelf billing!

Liss - haha, I am a master of the "pew pew" sound, as my sisters will tell you! Die, Tigrabars!

Dan - Thanks! I completely agree with you, you gotta have Victor on the top shelf, he wouldn't have it any other way! Love that fig cuz you can really get him into some dramatic Kirby-esque poses.
